WisdomTree Launches Physical AI, Humanoids, and Drones Fund (WDRN)

Dated: May 22, 2026

May 22, 2026 – WisdomTree has unveiled the WisdomTree Physical AI, Humanoids, and Drones Fund (WDRN), now trading on the Cboe BZX Exchange (CBOE). The fund marks a major step in the evolution of artificial intelligence, expanding beyond digital applications to power machines capable of perceiving, deciding, and acting autonomously in the physical world.

The WDRN fund tracks the WisdomTree Physical AI, Humanoids, and Drones Index, offering investors exposure to global companies driving innovation in robotics, drones, autonomous vehicles, and AI-based manufacturing systems. It also includes firms advancing warehouse automation, healthcare robotics, and intelligent machinery across construction, agriculture, and defense sectors.

According to Christopher Gannatti, Global Head of Research at WisdomTree, the launch represents a turning point for AI. “AI is beginning to operate in the physical world as advances in models, computing, and robotics converge. This is a significant inflection point in the trajectory of AI,” he said.

Gannatti noted that the shift is already visible in autonomous vehicles, next-generation factories, and drone technologies shaping modern industries and conflicts. As investment flows accelerate toward semiconductors, automation, and industrial infrastructure, WisdomTree believes physical AI will define the next major investment cycle — reshaping how intelligence interacts with the global economy.

The WDRN fund positions investors at the forefront of this transformation, offering a gateway to companies leading the integration of AI into real-world systems and signaling the dawn of a new era where machines think, move, and act independently.
