Singapore, May 26, 2026 – Google Cloud has unveiled a new cross‑border accelerator program designed to connect 25 Southeast Asian AI startups with technology and investment hubs in California, offering each founder up to $350,000 in cloud credits.
The three‑month program, titled Google for Startups Accelerator: Southeast Asia, is now open for applications and will kick off in August 2026. Developed in partnership with Enterprise Singapore, Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, Vietnam’s National Innovation Center (NIC), and Ho Chi Minh City’s Startup and Innovation Hub (SIHUB), the initiative aims to strengthen regional AI innovation and global connectivity.
Selected startups will gain early access to Google’s latest AI models, including Gemini 3.5, and receive hands‑on training in agentic coding, AI context engineering, and multi‑agent systems. The program also includes tailored mentorship and exposure to investors and industry leaders in both Southeast Asia and Silicon Valley.
Since 2018, Google’s accelerator programs have supported over 200 early‑stage startups across the region, helping them raise $6.6 billion in funding and create 11,300 jobs. Sami Kizilbash, Head of Developer Ecosystems for Asia Pacific at Google Cloud, said the new initiative bridges the gap between product‑market fit and international expansion, a challenge often faced by founders in emerging markets.
Targeting seed to Series B AI startups across six countries, the program will culminate in a demo day and startup summit in Singapore, marking a milestone in Google Cloud’s mission to empower Southeast Asia’s next generation of AI innovators.
