Nonprofit Tech for Good’s Free Webinar on “AI-Proofing” Careers

Dated: November 10, 2025

November 2025

In response to growing interest in how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the nonprofit sector, Nonprofit Tech for Good has announced a free mini-webinar designed to help nonprofit professionals “AI-proof” their careers. The 20-minute online session will be held on December 3, 2025, and will be led by Heather Mansfield, the organization’s Founder and Editor-in-Chief.

As AI becomes increasingly integrated into fundraising, communications, and program management, many nonprofit workers are questioning how to remain relevant and competitive. The webinar, titled “How Nonprofit Professionals Can AI-Proof Their Careers,” aims to provide practical guidance on understanding AI’s capabilities and limitations — and how to leverage it ethically within mission-driven organizations.

Mansfield, a long-time advocate for digital transformation in the social sector, will guide attendees through the core principles of AI literacy. The session will touch on generative AI, predictive analytics, and the rise of autonomous systems that could reshape how nonprofits operate.

“AI is not just coming — it’s already here,” Mansfield said ahead of the session. “The goal of this workshop is to give nonprofit professionals the clarity and confidence to use AI responsibly, while protecting the human-centered values that define our work.”

The webinar will also explore how AI can create new efficiencies, reduce administrative burden, and improve program delivery, while highlighting the skills that remain uniquely human — empathy, creativity, and strategic thinking. Ethical and environmental considerations surrounding AI adoption will also form part of the discussion.

Registration for the session is free, and all participants will receive access to a recording after the event. Nonprofit Tech for Good said it hopes the initiative will encourage sector-wide dialogue about how organizations can adapt to emerging technologies without compromising mission or integrity.

With the rapid acceleration of AI tools across industries, the webinar arrives at a critical time for nonprofit leaders and staff seeking to understand how to embrace innovation while safeguarding their roles and responsibilities.
