Infosys & Anthropic Collaboration Aims to Unlock AI Value in Complex Sectors

Dated: February 17, 2026

Infosys and Anthropic have announced a strategic collaboration to develop and deliver advanced enterprise AI solutions across multiple industries, beginning with telecommunications. A dedicated Anthropic Center of Excellence will be established to build and deploy AI agents tailored to industry-specific operations, with plans to expand into financial services, manufacturing, and software development.

The partnership combines Anthropic’s Claude models, including Claude Code, with Infosys Topaz AI offerings to automate complex workflows, accelerate software delivery, and implement AI solutions with governance and transparency suitable for regulated industries. The collaboration focuses on agentic AI, which can handle multi-step tasks independently, such as processing claims, generating and testing code, and managing compliance reviews. This approach aims to modernize legacy systems while reducing the cost and complexity of infrastructure updates.

In telecommunications, AI agents will modernize network operations, streamline customer lifecycle management, and improve service delivery. In financial services, they will enhance risk detection, automate compliance reporting, and provide personalized customer interactions. In manufacturing and engineering, AI will accelerate product design and simulation, enabling faster R&D cycles and testing of multiple iterations. In software development, Claude Code will assist developers in writing, testing, and debugging code, with Infosys leveraging internal deployments to build expertise and best practices for clients.

Dario Amodei, CEO and Co-Founder of Anthropic, highlighted the importance of combining AI models with domain expertise to succeed in regulated industries, noting Infosys’ extensive industry knowledge. Salil Parekh, CEO of Infosys, emphasized that the collaboration is a strategic step toward redefining enterprise operations through AI, helping organizations unlock value, enhance resilience, and foster responsible innovation across sectors.
