Infosys and Cognition Join Forces to Drive AI Transformation Worldwide

Dated: February 11, 2026

Infosys, a global leader in digital services and consulting, and Cognition, the creator of Devin—the first AI software engineer—have announced a strategic collaboration to scale Devin across global enterprises. This partnership will deploy Devin within Infosys’ internal engineering ecosystem and client engagements worldwide, leveraging the capabilities of Infosys Topaz Fabric, a purpose-built AI services suite that integrates infrastructure, models, data, applications, and workflows into a unified, agent-ready environment. By combining Infosys’ modular and secure AI architecture with Cognition’s autonomous engineering expertise, the collaboration aims to accelerate time-to-market, boost developer productivity, and reduce modernization timelines for enterprises.

Having used Devin for six months, Infosys observed notable improvements in engineering quality and efficiency. As a result, Devin will be fully integrated into Infosys’ internal engineering teams, embedded within client delivery models, and deployed in customers’ engineering environments. To drive widespread adoption, Infosys and Cognition are developing shared engineering frameworks and enablement programs, bringing the combined capabilities of Topaz Fabric and Devin to engineers across industries.

The integration of Infosys Topaz Fabric and Devin will automate brownfield engineering, reduce technical debt, and support modernization efforts while creating virtual engineers capable of handling complex production and maintenance challenges. To ensure secure, enterprise-grade deployment, the partners will jointly develop industry-specific solutions, AI-native modernization blueprints, and scalable engineering frameworks, supported by co-innovation labs and enablement initiatives. The first wave of client engagement is already underway, with Infosys’ Financial Services practice using Devin to transform engineering delivery in banking, payments, capital markets, insurance, and wealth management.

Scott Wu, Founder and CEO of Cognition, highlighted the transformative potential of the collaboration, emphasizing that combining Infosys’ Exponential Engineering offering with Devin enables everything from real-time developer augmentation to fully autonomous engineering execution. He noted that Infosys is the first major digital services firm to deploy agentic tools at this scale, allowing clients to accelerate time-to-market, enhance ROI, and unlock a new era of engineering transformation.

Salil Parekh, CEO and Managing Director of Infosys, described the partnership as a significant milestone in accelerating AI value for global enterprises. By integrating Cognition’s advanced autonomous engineering capabilities with Infosys’ industry expertise and delivery strengths, the collaboration creates a differentiated market proposition. Topaz Fabric acts as a catalyst for modernization and innovation, helping clients achieve their strategic objectives more efficiently.
