Infosys Collaborates with Citizens to Accelerate AI-Driven Banking Solutions

Dated: February 11, 2026

Infosys, a global leader in digital services and consulting, has announced a collaboration with Citizens Financial Group, one of the oldest and largest financial institutions in the US, to support the launch of Citizens’ AI-first Innovation Hub in Bengaluru, India. This initiative is designed to accelerate AI-driven transformation across the bank’s operations, product development, and customer experience, establishing a technology-driven model for modern banking.

As a strategic delivery partner, Infosys will contribute its expertise in AI, cloud, and cybersecurity to advance Citizens’ AI-first operating model. Leveraging Infosys Topaz Fabric, a specialized agentic services suite that integrates infrastructure, models, data, applications, and workflows into a cohesive, agent-ready ecosystem, Infosys will help develop scalable capabilities to simplify and accelerate the delivery of new financial products and digital services. This engagement builds upon the existing partnership between the two organizations, which has already enhanced innovation and customer service at Citizens.

The AI-first Innovation Hub reflects Citizens’ commitment to fostering a skilled global workforce and embedding artificial intelligence and advanced technologies across its technology ecosystem. By integrating AI into critical banking functions, the hub aims to enhance innovation, operational resilience, and efficiency at scale. This partnership underscores Infosys’ ability to develop AI-enabled operating models for financial institutions and strengthens Citizens’ position as a technology-driven super regional bank.

Michael Ruttledge, Chief Information Officer at Citizens, emphasized that the AI-first Innovation Hub demonstrates the bank’s long-term dedication to modern, secure, and intelligent banking capabilities. By partnering with Infosys and leveraging Topaz Fabric, Citizens is transforming its operations to deliver more personalized and efficient customer experiences. Dennis Gada, Executive Vice President at Infosys, highlighted that the collaboration enables financial institutions to adopt AI-first models, accelerate innovation, and redefine the future of banking by combining Infosys’ financial services expertise with the advanced capabilities of Topaz Fabric.

Infosys continues to support digital transformation globally, empowering clients in 63 countries with AI-first strategies, agile digital solutions, and continuous learning.
